Washingtonian Washington robusta:  native to northern Mexico, this palm is also known as the Mexican Fan Palm.  Leaves are 4-6 feet acress with orange, sharp teeth along the stem.  Dead fronds lie down against the trunk to form a skirt unless pruned.  Palms mature at 70-100 feet tall.  Good salt resistance and salt tollerant,
Coconut Coconut Palm:  Mature to 40-80 feet tall.  Make sure to plant where falling coconuts will not cause damage.  Salt tollerant.  Prefer well drained soils.  Plant in protected if danger of frost.
  Christmas Palm:  Adonidia merrillii - native to the Phillippines.  Matures at 15-25 feet tall.  Prefers full sun.  Moderately salt tollerant.  Red seeds mature around December.
