About Us

Kelly has been riding since a very early age.  Starting with western trail riding in Alabama and Colorado and later hunt seat, dressage, and fox hunting in Florida.  During college, she volunteered for several years at the Horse Teaching Unit (HTU) at the University of Florida.  There she learned to handle and care for new born foals and stallions.  She purchased UF Klass Act from the University of Florida during her senior year of college.

With Klassy, she showed dressage and hunt seat, enjoyed fox hunting, and passed her Level 2 of the Parelli system.  In addition to Klassy, she also owned and showed some of her more "suitable" thoroughbreds and quarter horses.  Kelly is currently a student of Kirsten Nelsen (Training for Optimal Balance), Stephany Fish, and Baron Julius Von Uhl.   She is a board member of both the Equine Rescue and Adoption Foundation (ERAF) and the Twin Rivers Saddle Club (TRSC) and is registered as a merit badge counselor with the Boy Scouts.
